*I just was thinking, it wouldn't cost so much staying at a campground like once a month or something like that if you did it when you needed water and a shower (yes, the campground would have to have shower's if that was important to you).*
*So you could stay at one and fill your water up, that would save you money.*
*Take a shower, that would save you money if you normally go to a truck stop or wherever.*
*In the cold weather, it would save you money if you used diesel, propane or electric to heat with by using an electrical heater run off their electricity. It would save fuel and electricity.*
*And in the summer, you could use AC if you have one, on their electricity.*
*And charge your batteries up. And you get to use anything electrical, blender, microwave, or anything that consumes alot of electricity.*
*Just add up (estimate if need be) everything that would cost you money during that time, like a shower, $ for water you would buy and so on.*

*Electric used overnight, including how much it would have cost to charge your house batteries up.*
*Electric and fuel you normally used to heat with overnight.*
*How much it cost to use an electrical heater overnight.*
*And maybe the price it would cost if you had an AC?*

*How much it cost to take a shower at a truck stop or wherever.*
*Add all that up. And then compare that to what it cost for the camping spot.*

I assume you must like winter weather for skiing or something but otherwise isn’t it better to travel with the season so that you avoid extreme heat and extreme cold? I’m also curious if using a diesel heater increases the chances of getting carbon monoxide poisoning. Hopefully not not hopefully you have a good detector in the van
