I am embarrassed to admit how long I fiddled with this. Then I realized that it is Ottlite that should be embarrassed. I wrote an email to them suggesting that they hire a 7 year old to write their guides. Thanks for this, I will grant that it took an adult helping others by posting this video!. I found that the clock drifts, but I would not touch it out of annoyance avoidance. I just corrected my clock with your assistance. I shall retain the link! Thanks again!

I got it after you showed how to change the year in the video. You're very clear on the instructions. Thank you thank you!!! I just let it set on my dresser unplugged for almost 2 months. I almost tossed it across my room. I went screw crazy just trying to figure out how to change the day. Lol... finally got tired of it wasting away. Seen your video and BOOOM!! I got it! Now I'm very very happy and this Ottlite is now doing its job. You're awesome! The year was set to 2017 when I went to change it. You should be the one writing the instructions for us all. 😄😁...

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for the simplified instructions! The darn day of the week being incorrect was making me crazy. I feel silly for not realizing the third click of the S button was the year. In my defense, it was 10am and so I made the false assumption it was switching the time into military format! LOL Thank you for the video! Now that it's set correctly, I really love this little lamp.
