As soon as I saw the post about the new hissfits art, the first thing I thought was “Lizzie is probably doing backflips right now” 😭😭

I would like to point out something about the Hissfits' price. A CORE doll is 25 base price, but the Monster Ball line had a base price of 30. Toralei didn’t GET a Monster Ball doll, but the outfit she wears in the Hissfits pack IS her Monster Ball design (more or less). This means that this is, for all intents and purposes, her Monster Ball doll. Therefore, the price of the Hissfits pack is actually a decent deal, as all three dolls separately would be 25+25+30=80, rather than the 25+25+25=75 that most people are seeming to figure. Plus the large amount of accessories that do not come with core or Monster Ball, like their clothes rack, the twins guitars, mean that the value is even greater. Add on the 10-15% sale from Macy's, and its even better! Basically, the people who are complaining that the pack is "not worth it" need to take a fucking math class

Edgar Allen Poe was an author. He's known mostly for his poetry but he's also got some famous short stories. The Telltale Heart, the Pit and the Pendulum, The Fall of the House of Usher, The Masque of the Red Death. Roger Corman made a bunch of movies based on Poe's short stories in the '60s, they star Vincent Price. Lenore is the name of the narrator's lost love in the poem The Raven.

Lenore is the name of the bird that hangs out in the coffin beam in G3 Monster High. It just says “nevermore” repeatedly I think.

I think you should totally give re-rooting the black streak a try. Re-rooting is def intimidating at first but once you do it a few times it's not so scary. Then a whole ton of other customizing doors open up for you!

For the Creature they better not announce that tomorrow, it makes me so mad how last minute they announce product, it’s only 2 days, and not even a 2 full days to get everything in order to purchase.

The Hissfits artwork is great! I’m not going to order them yet until they can hit store shelfs. I want them but not for $80, Big Bad Toy Store raises their prices on products then what retail would be.

I’d only suggest buying if it’s something u really want or can’t find anywhere else from them.

It took me until the age of 18 (I got invested in monster high at the age of 7) to tell the difference between Purrsephone and Meowolody, and to also realize they weren’t related to Toralei (in g1)

I think the black on Toralei's hair is not hair but rather a headband that holds her crown. I also love the artwork but I feel like Darco might not be the best at different perspective profiles, like with Catty's poster Purrsephone's face (not the refelection but her actual face) but like they still look so beautiful. Also outside of the place were its currently available on for preorder when its released could u compile a list of places to get the tripack please, as a person who lives out of the us some dolls are so hard to get cause of the shipping situation

its really hard to see but I think the box tore has a really small back streak I hope that the rest have a proper one (it might be string to keep on the crown but it looks like it dips at the parting line)
(you can only really see it from the crown to her ear but there is the smallest streak)
