It's amusing how you casually do this while Shmee150 is hardly able to buy groceries in his Taycan Turbo S without running into the worst charging trouble.

The lake at 4:00 is called Lake Zug, the mountain in front is called Mythen, this is beautiful Central Switzerland 🇨🇭
Traffic jam at Gotthard is not because of road construction, it’s the regular traffic during the holiday season, because it’s only a one lane per direction tunnel…

Nice to follow you all the way. Dont apologise for the wind or the road noise, that not anyting you can change. Great work.

Hi Kris, you chose the hotel in the old part of Genova... nice but the most car unfriendly area (that's why you see so many scooters around). If you have the opportunity find a bakery and try the focaccia before you leave, it's a must!

Enjoying your road trip video's a lot Kris, and less issues with mid/south-European charging than I expected - excellent! Hoping your drive back Saturday/Sunday will go well as it is what we call a 'black weekend' due to an expected peak in departing and returning holiday traffic (but hopefully for you more on the French side). Be safe, all the best and thanks for sharing this great road trip!

Hey Kris,
Thanks for taking us with you on the journey. And a small but important thing: great music from Steven Beddall :-) Enjoy your trip back to Norway.

Awesome trip! I did drive from southern Sweden to Verona through Switzerland in 2019 before the corona mess up. However I did it in a petrol car and I'm surprised how smooth it seems to be with an EV. Very happy it works so well cause being able to to such trips is a must.

If you drive back on the same route, go over the Gotthard Pass instead of through the tunnel. way nicer and depending on the traffic queues, not much slower.

Appreciate the shoutout for Belgian viewers, i hope you have more of them than just me :D
Loving this road trip! I'm getting a Polestar 2 early next year and cross Europe trips like this are one of my main worries about electric driving. I feel a lot less worried now :)

Near the Gotthard tunnel in high season drive on the B road and go over the Gotthard Pass. More beautiful and you will mostly not loose any time.

Great trip Kris, planning similar (from outside Malmö to Tuscany) soon in our ID4. Reassuring to know that there are not queues at every charging station even now in the high holiday season.

You should do more of these trans-Europe drives! Really entertaining. What about driving to the south of Spain f.ex?

21:05 This is why people buy an ID.3 Tour with 10.2 m turning circle. 😉
Insanely narrow alleyways and turns in Italy.

Great trip Kris! I went down from Sweden to Switzerland in my etron 2 weeks ago and got that same error message about waiting for power at the Ionity station north of Bern. Must be a Swiss/ABB thing. Never seen it before anywhere...

😂
The pronunciation of the word "the" depends on the first sound of the word that comes after it. When the word after "the" begins with a consonant sound, people usually use /ðə/. When the word after "the" begins with a vowel sound, people usually use /ði/.
