This is meant to compete with the model y performance, not the model 3. The model y performance does 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds

Model 3 Performance is faster than most unmodified ICE (and EV) Mustangs. The top modified Mustangs are well in the same price category as Model S Plaid, but then nothing really compares to the Plaid. My point - I have no clue what this boy is talking about when saying that EVs can't compete with ICE Mustangs.

The launch is really good on this I still think Ford can make Mach e gtp trap higher with a software update I’ve heard Mach e gtps launch super hard but that it’s really noticeable that the power slows as you reach higher speeds hopefully Ford does some software updates to make this baby faster because it honestly seems intentional that Ford is limiting high end speed come on Ford dig in to that battery please I have a Tesla but I want one of these but I want that trap speed at least a little higher

Did you ever consider using actual instrumentation to check acceleration instead of making up numbers? Have you heard of a Dragy? Check the actual recorded times from other videos; the Mach-e GT PE is considerably slower than what Ford claims and is over a full second slower 0-60 than a Model 3 Performance and a half a second slower than a Model Y Performance. So much for "bonkers acceleration." Other than that, not too bad a review.

Remember, faster doesn’t make anything better. Always keep that in mind. To make it clear, just because the Model Y is a little faster doesn’t make it a better vehicle.

An engineer over on the mach e forums. Recently posted that the gt mach e versions are software limited over 4, 000 rpm.
Due to overheating issue's. He claimed to be in the know from looking at the actual programming for it. 🤔

I for one find it very amusing the e4x versions trap higher in the 1/4mile.
Someone else had commented that it reminded them of Ford's fiasco with the na 4v cobras back in the 90s not making anywhere near the promised hp. So fomoco has precedent for lying to their customers no doubt. Especially in promised power&mpg claims.

This is as someone whose owned well over a dozen new Ford's. Between mustangs, f-150s of various trims, a fiesta st and a focus st2.

You say Tesla killer, which Tesla? I own a model Y performance and a model 3 long range (with Acceleration boost) and I am pretty sure both of mine would demolish this thing. Can It kill the model Y long range for $20K more?
