Okay the first one is Bruce McCandless. In 1984 he was the first astronaut to go untethered. He actually said it was beautiful seeing the world in panorama. Actual quote from him “Looks like Florida. It is Florida!” He passed away in 2017 at the age of 80.

It was not some scary void but a moment of beauty. And his visor was down. “My anonymity means people can imagine themselves doing the same thing, ” he said. “Like Neil said in 1969, I was representing mankind up there.”

1) This narrator is horrible. Please do not use him again. He stumbled over words and just rambled on and on. How much was he paid to stand in front of a teleprompter and read with no variation or inflection whatsoever?

2) Shame on you people. Especially with the face on Mars story. We KNOW exactly what that is now. You could have simply said that when this shot first hit the world, people were in shock wondering if we're not alone. Since then we have learned that it is nothing more than pareidolia (seeing recognizable images in random objects. Such as faces in clouds)

In this case it turned out to be a trick of the light. The sun casting shadows on a Martian mound

But not once did you mention that. You quickly glossed over it

And as i said this is such an old story. Move on already
