Bhadla Solar Park is the largest solar park in the world as of 2020 and is spread over a total area of 5,700 hectares (14,000 acres) in Bhadla, Phalodi tehsil, Jodhpur district, Rajasthan, India.

The park has a total capacity of 2245 MW. The park had witnessed the lowest bid for solar power in India as of December 2020 at ₹2.44 (3.2¢ US) per kilowatt-hour. In September 2018, Acme Solar announced that it had commissioned India's cheapest solar power: 200 MW at Bhadla.

Its the best place for solar energy, because Rajasthan has a lot of deserts which are difficult to cultivate crops and its very hot and very sunny....
It receives more than 12 hrs of sunlight as well...

Guys it was world's largest, now it is 2nd largest (2022) as the largest one is pavagada solar park in Karnataka, India

Looks like the surface of Mars. Also, @1:42 you can see the Indira Canal. Probably provides water for cleaning the panels apart from agriculture. We should see if we can grow any low height crop under the shade of the panels.

Yes it’s true but there are many solar park installer’s like vikram solar, sterling & Wilson, Tata solar etc so this a lot of consolidated installer are currently progressing

The tragedy of Indian solar is it looks more like a world power lifting chpuonship.
Whereas what is more appropriate is 1kwh/day perrooftop, saying on transmission costs and losses. If we cover one city say jodhpur or only ratanada with rooftop, we use more and better?. All civil servant houses in Central expenditure
