Andros 15-Days Walking. Day 4 Batsi to Chora, 21.1km, path 11, 11a, 9, 10a, then on roadway through Kato Ipsilou to Chora. 5 hours, 767m elevation gain.
Andros is one of Europe’s best islands for hiking with nearly 300kms of ancient, stone pathways, marked and maintained by local volunteers. Andros is a short ferry-ride from Athens and yet is relatively untouched by mass tourism. On our 15-day visit, we covered almost 220kms on foot, averaging 14-15kms per day. Loved it!
