The realism of horse riding in games vary. Some games with blocky graphical implementation of a horse like Minecraft may not look that real, but riding them feels pretty much the same in real life. The Witcher 3 actually has put in thought on the horses, the tack looks great and so does the horse itself. Most of them would forget the nose bands or a blanket.

Lmao.. Wild horses at the end XD they're fully dominant and tamed. If you attempted to go close to a wild horse and its herd, you'd probably come out with a few broken bones.

i honestly felt bad for the real life horse. the horse was branded, meaning they pretty much burned the numbers into the horses skin which is obviously very painful. Although (hopefully), it may have been freeze branded which causes no pain.
