Just make crossplay an optional setting.

I think the xbox one and ps4 players shpuld be able to download the game anyways, wouldn’t be a problem, in OW it feels slower but you can still play at a competitive level, so I dont think its fair to forget that community because Im sure for them its better to play worse than just not play…

i think they'll just take the OW path and keep crossplay comp to console and pc will be excluded

Honestly i dont see a problem, they could just do it how Overwatch does it with console and pc pools and an option to play with both.

They should just make it so you can turn off or turn on crossplay. I’ll turn it on when playing with pc friends but turn it off when play by myself cos pc players been playing for way longer than

You can make valorant work on a controller.
But lets say that the console build of the game will be diffrent, in a sense that the hitboxes could be different. Maybe all you need to do is turn up the bullet magnetism and give controller players actual controls to tweak like: Deadzones, Acceleration curves and the like. And maybe that could work out.

Bro, they should just release the game on Xbox with only kbm support on release, then work on controller stuff, just so we have it now

I’m willing to try it, I tried keyboard and mouse recently and I just can’t stand it. I’ve been to used to controllers I just suck with KBM now, so I’m definitely gonna try the game again when it’s on Xbox

Ngl, I really think they could do no aim assist. Rainbow Six Siege has no aim assist, and the higher ranks have insane accuracy

Add cross play as functional and also add gyro controls

I think when it comes to aiming the game might work if there’s just a learning curve to it. Basically I don’t think it should have aim assist because they could probably tweak it so that it’s a learning experience, learning where to aim and maybe if recoil isn’t heavy on controller they also might stand a chance

Edit: A LOT of redditors on r/Valorant are the most pessimistic people ever about the game coming out on console if it comes like jeez instead of brainstorming ways it could happen they’re out here just telling console to screw off in a nutshell like “wow, sorry about aim assist in the past even though we don’t really like it ourselves” but yea zero aim assist and only console pool crossplay is a prayer rn

They should add it to Xbox one and ps4 I play against pc and new gen all of the time and yet I still beat them and some people can’t afford a brand new 500 dollar console

Hopefully they bring it to console. Honestly. Crossplay will be fine for casual game modes. And just keep that out of ranked. That’s how they do it for apex. The only difference is just don’t allow controller support on pc unless it has no aim assist. To protect the competitive integrity of valorant on pc. I’ll just be excited to play the game on console.
