I think this is my new favorite! 🍎🍁👇🏻

Homemade apple butter:

15-20 fresh or frozen organic apples
1/2 cup each brown and coconut sugar (or white sugar)
2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp clove
2 tsp vanilla extract
Juice from half lemon

Chop up your apples (no need to skin them) and add them to a large dutch oven on medium heat
Cook on medium low, covered, for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until the apples have softened.
Then add the remaining ingredients and stir.
Combine it all with an immersion blender
Store in bags in the freezer to serve up on toast or PB&J later on
