This is the third episode from our Moroccan Food series! Today we are starting the day in Casablanca to experience delicious Moroccan seafood at the fish market. We try a few raw oysters before picking our own fish, which will be cooked Moroccan style! We visit Hassan II Mosque and check out the beautiful Casablanca coastline. Then, we go to Rabat to have a traditional Moroccan home cooked meal made by a professional chef in her home. She prepares the most traditional version of pastilla, which is a sweet and savoury pie filled with chicken, along with many other Moroccan side dishes.

I love this serie. I live in southern Portugal, in Algarve, and you feel the influence of the Arabs who lived here a few centuries ago. There are many similarities in our cuisine. We also eat baked snails, oysters, grilled sardines and we love a home made stew, cooked in a clay pot, wih meat (chicken, beef, pork or lamb), patatoes and carrots. Sorry my awful english.
