I'm turning 54 in just a cpl wks, (the 13th- I'm a Friday the 13th baby too!
But feeling very self conscious about my age.. because of the fact that the tragic losses in my life really aged me.. I swear I look 20yrs older...
Okkk, maybe not 20- but it HAS aged me, and people close to me tell me they can see the grief & pain all over my eyes...
and it will probably always be that way. 🥺😓
BUT- IF there's any "bright" side to what I've been thru, all the deep, deep grieving & depression... it's the fact that I actually dropped 55-ish lbs. So while my face may look worse, my body looks better!

My 2 special guardian angels would be proud of me for losing the extra weight I needed to.
BUT, I'd gladly weigh 500lbs, the rest of my life,
IF it meant I could have them back....
Ohh, but I know, I know...
it doesn't work that way.
