idea for file oxplorer plese someone who knows coding make file explorer like table view on notion and have a different views like timeline and calendar

One thing I immediately do not like about it is that I cannot go forward/back a page using the buttons on my mouse. I have a mouse with 12 buttons on the side you can customise and two of them go forward/back and works on everything; webpages, normal file explorer etc. This is the first programme I have seen it not work with:/ Manually having to click forward & back is a pain when you're used to using your mouse and many mouses (yes, mouses, look up the meaning of "double plural") have this feature now and it is not uncommon so idk why this application does not feature this. This programme seems to have been around for a while and I imagine they make updates but you'd this something simple like this would be sorted out.

The transparent thingy is already available in Linux (with the KDE desktop environment specifically) for ages now. A few notable ones are Garuda Linux, Deepin OS and the most popular one, Kubuntu

I've closed Files App, but Files process is still running in the background and consume more than 30% CPU resource. It is a bug……

the side bar got no folder tree, so files is disqualified...

every thing is fantastic. but the side bar in files app must alow furthur resizing. and the icons are some times showing black background in transparent theme.

Great video. I’ve been looking for a column view ala mac os on windows for a long time now and files v2 is a good alternative .I just hope they improve the file selection as you have to double click each folder and files still creates another preview/ column even if you’ve selected another file within a folder
