Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 First Impressions ( I'M EXCITED )

I am breaking down the differences between the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Spoiler alert is that I am very excited to get my hands back on that rotating bezel.

Looking forward to your review. Still on my GW3 and insured for one more year, which means I could wait for the GW7.

I do feel that upgrading now is finally justifiable, but can't decide if I should get the 6 Classic or the 5 Pro, because well, it's a Pro.

I was hoping for a 6 Pro to make my decision easier, but we'll see once your review is up. Maybe the 6 is better than the 5 Pro or maybe the opposite 🤔

To gain 1mm less thickness, the Watch 6 Classic 47mm apparently lost 1 day of battery 🔋 life compared to the Watch 5 Pro 🤔, I don't think it was the best and smartest choice for Samsung to make.

I just per ordered mine . Fyi you'll get a free cloth band with the regular band

I am trading in the 5 Pro. Really miss the bezel and will miss the Titanium version. Battery life will be determined by use mostly. I find the 5 Pro using GPS and music for a 90 minute exercise period, I have to charge every night. Exercise with GPS and music still destroys battery life, always belov 50% by end of day. If your exercise is under an hour with no music easily 2 days out of watch. They also did a complete changeover on watch bands with the 6. None of the dozen or so Barton Watch bands will work with the 6. Just really too bad that the 6 Classic was not a Titanium version.

How's the battery life? It has a smaller battery than 5 pro so I'd assume you'll get less out of 6 classic?

I wish they would have bumped up the storage to at least 32GB. I also wish they would make an Audible compatible app for it. That way, I am not tethered to my phone on runs.

Very disappointed, from the Watch 6, it's only marketing, the processor is not new, it's the W 920 inflated by 10% engraved in 5 nm .... Why not to have put a Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 which is better and engraved in 4 nm?? The rotating crown returns to the classic Watch 6, but it was already on the classic Watch 4. The software side being only a normal evolution of 2023 which will be taken up on the Watch 5 and 4 in a few months. Virtually no change in battery capacity. Increasing the brightness will reduce the low power gain to zero. We are talking about watches at 450€ - 500€ which to have all their functionalities must be paired with a Samsung smartphone and some functions of which do not work in certain countries, see also the blood pressure measurement which must be calibrated every month by a real blood pressure monitor. Really disappointed, can't wait for the Watch 7 in February
