We headed out to Baja to review the newest addition to the Can-Am family, the Maverick X3. As Can-Am’s latest model in their line-up of sport UTV’s, the Maverick X3 is available in 3 models – the base X3, X3 X DS, and X3 X RS. We put the base model of the X3 to the test in the sand, and pushed it to the limit on hard-packed trails as well, all to see if it could live up to the hype. I might be the first person to say this..but I sat in one and I wasn't super impressed..IMO your to low, now let start off by saying I ride predominantly out east..tighter trails lots of rock, mud that sorda thing, but the maverick although is a sweet machine, wouldn't be my choice. Im not knocking any brand, I didn't like how "plastic-ie" it looked. Maybe having driven one I would change my mind.. I have contemplated these things with a set of 32" intimidators and a halo locker but i just can't seem to like it... Also i bet you get muddy as hell riding in one!!!!

I "Dumped" my 2016 RZR Turbo to buy one of these.  Could not get the dealers to fix the recall (All they were concerned about was fixing their own inventory so they could sell them) and figured I`d be making payments on it and missing the dune season."Shame on Polaris"!

Nice review. Just a question - why are ATV reviewers calling side by sides "cars" these days? Is it something the ATV manufacturers are asking you to say to justify the insane prices of some of these machines? Side by sides aren't cars. The amount of engineering in these things simply pales in comparison to an automobile.
