Remember bigger isnt always better, because of this the murder drones can break into the front lights due to it looking like glass or something and kill the martian inside, if the murder drones were on earth, plus the murder drones are faster than the heat-ray could catch, but the tripod’s do have shield’s so its gonna take time for the murder drones to break it or the martian making it disabled due to malfunction, also they have to break the heat-ray’s if they manage to break the shield so they would have no interference when breaking into the light’s, also if they wanted to the murder drones could control the tripod if they try to scan it for the controls and make it their new weapon of destruction, also if one of the murder drones got hit by the laser they have regeneration, also i ain’t a murder drone’s fan i am both fans of the show and movie.
