Bit of a tangent but really appreciate your patience with the kids despite how irritating they can be. There are a lot of ppl who are absolutely vile to kids at the parks at the drop of the hate nowadays it feels like.

I fully understand anger at the parents (especially with them not watching their kids at ALL), and some kids are absolute undeniable brats ofc, but ultimately if we scare off and curse *every* child at every opportunity for having interest and wanting to learn a new skill just because because we feel wholly and solely entitled to the space as the older and more experienced individuals, it will only discourage kids curiosity and confidence in advancing their skill further.

Don’t get me wrong, i absolutely despise kids in nearly every way and don’t want to deal with them as much as possible, but that’s my own problem, and I refuse to be the reason a child comes to hate and feel uncomfortable pursuing something when they could instead come to love it and find comfort in it just as much as I do.

i really think it’s great that kids are getting out and about but at the same time they need to be explicitly told the rules of the park before they go on. there’s rules at almost every park saying ‘wait your turn’. if their parents had read it to them before they went on the park i’m sure they’d be so much more aware of what was going on around them tbh
