In Paul's second epistle to the church at Thessalonica, he again shares much regarding his prayerful desires for their assembly. In the very beginning of his epistle, his greeting reveals his desire for them. He shares with them, as he does for other churches as well, his desire for them to abound with the grace and peace of God. Paul desired for them to continue receive and grow in God's unmerited favor toward them, and in the inner serenity and tranquility that comes from having the presence of the Holy Spirit residing in them.
