Maybe he wants to grieve with people that love his mother? It's a shared experience of compassion, respect and grief. This is what binds us together as human beings. His Majesty is starting down the path of fulfilling his duty. The standard that was instilled and guided by his beloved mother. To share in grief lifts the soul. To disparage a family in time of mourning is left to the abyss.

He's been in training for years, now that is here he should be ready for this, but he also should be grieving as well along with the people.

Can you imagine at 73 having a schedule like this all the while in deep grief for his beloved mother? I am 66 and couldn't do it. He's amazing.

In all the reporting I’ve heard around King Charles III, I’ve not heard anyone mention the fact that he is grieving the loss of his mother. It is completely normal to be more irritable in the first many weeks of acute grief. It is completely normal to experience a grief fog when the brain doesn’t function as well as usual for months. As a clinical social worker, I would love for some reporting to normalize the grief response for the public.

All the world was fascinated with his mother, Queen Elizabeth II because she was an extraordinary human being, impecable lady, Charles is not and he knows it, he married this amazing beautiful young girl and he choose not to love her or understand her, Diana’s compassion and generosity would forever overshadow his reign !

I think leaking pens and no room to sign a document are good reasons for being upset! King Charles might want to get more capable people around him to see that things go perfectly!

Great report! Maybe we 'yanks' like feeling a bit humble towards our British brethren. I mean, we did dump all that tea in the harbor and never apologized. 🙂 Seriously, it might just be our shared DNA which likes having around the pomp and circumstance of a monarchy. Good Luck Charles. God Save The King... for all of us.

Prince Charles & Camilla, were reported to have had a Boy Child together when they were Teenagers. Rumors stated one of Camilla's female relatives raised him. This child whom is an old man himself now has been in Interviews. (Too bad the British Aristocracy did not allow the early, obvious love for each other they had! If they'd been allowed to be full human and love each other freely ; so much sorrow, pain, shame would have been saved for all involved! Not to mention Billions in lost British Tourism Dollars that their later Love Triangle Scandals caused!)

You Brits are crazy to support an elitist family as you do, but, at least y'all don't have Trump spoiling your air, as we do.

If the ruled have forgiven King CharlesIII for all dirty deeds he committed in the past, may the Almighty God guide the ruled and the new King forgive the poor defenceless Harry and Meghan for what ever they have done wrong in the eyes of the ruler and the ruled then piece will prevail happily there after.

Americans are covering it for the same reason Britain covered the antics of Trump.

Personally, I always admired the Queen Elizabeth2 for her enduring times during WWII when she was just a teenager and trying to do her part in the war efforts when she was told to leave London for her sake "instead" what she did she volunteered to be part of the auxiliary group of men and women that helped drive to acquire meds and other products. Plus, she knew how to take care of a jeep and how to fix it when she had to. I so admire that determination not to sit and wonder what to do but did something about her position as a princess and dedicated her time for all she could do during WWII. Also, my greatest admiration to Prime Minister Churchill and so glad he was available to help during the most crucial time in history of WWII. The hardest part which, to me was unforgiveable, how we as America, refused to assist in the beginning when Churchill was trying to get aid from us. Luckily Churchill managed to get FDR to help them to win over those certain events that was causing him so much trouble. I thank God for Churchill and the Princess Elizabeth that didn't stand by the side but did something to help the country. Plus when she became Queen Elizabeth 2, how proud the entire Royal Family was of her dedication and it showed in the past as well as in the future of her timeless work and dedication to make sure the UK is always united. RIP HRH Queen Elizabeth2.
