In regards to the Gaming/Sport thing, lets keep in mind that its an Industry. We would still have sports but the competitive elements would be slowly bred out of them, no more Podiums with different levels, no more Gold/Silver/Bronze, all Sports would be team building exercise for the love of it.

Take UK Football. Without the £Millions they pay them to do the same crap every year most would not be there! Football, Golf, Swimming etc. would be experienced by those who would enjoy it. I refer to this statement:

The collapse will be hard. But without Resources money represents nothing. Without money, the system collapses. Leading to one form or another of a Resource Based Economy. As you pointed out at the end. Either Big Brother or Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
