My pond is going strong one year later. Got into the whole hobby because of your videos. I always appreciate your pond posts. Thank you!!

Also caveat, thanks for the tank top vids too!

Really enjoy your posts. Appreciate the fact you say you’re not an “expert” with specific things but that’s encouraging to us true novices it’s ok if we don’t know it all but to accept not everything has to be perfect. Thanks for the inspiration!

I love it! I bet those tiny fish are happy. They probably don't feel like "rejects", Thank you for not un-a-living them. 🥰🥰🐟🐟🌿🌿

I actually think as the new pond matures and all the Medaka’s colours start to pop from the sunlight that pond will look great with the mix of colours. 😊

My 2 cents: Add a small cage of gravel or pebbles that sits right in front of solar pump's water stream ... instant mini bog filter.
ALSO: Great music

I almost stopped breeding rice fish but you sparked my interest again with these small ponds

Re-watching all your rice fish content BEFORE summer this time, so that I'm better prepared for this year! Hope you're doing better Mr. Pros

Creeping Jenny can grow as a terrestrial, marginal or fully aquatic plant. It’s all the same plant. She’s just very versatile ❤

Many, many, years ago when I set up a galvanized bucket pond I was instructed to rub the inside of a new bucket with vinegar and then rinse it well. It was supposed to remove any oils, etc.

The 80's patio pond montage part of the video 😎

Hey if you want an easier way to do the filtering of the pond use a timer in a plug in and a sponge filter

Love the 80's music! haha The pop up summer pond is so fun! So easy to set up and so forgiving and a lot of aquatic plants have really nice flowers too... often blooming in these kind of settings... 🙂

I'd keep some goofy unwanted rice fish! All are adorable and small~!

Nice set up! Lovin that duck butt 😆 and that night light 💗
Maybe that pump needs some smacking? Remember in the 90's when you need to smack the TV for it to get its sh*t straight? 😅

Every thought of adding a living plant wall to filter the water for your pond fish.

I ordered pearl rice fish from Aquahuna after watching your videos and they came slightly orange. It was my first time with rice fish so I wasn't sure if they were supposed to look like that but after the first 2 weeks or so in my patio pond, they turned completely orange. Not sure if it they shipped the wrong ones but I didn't bother to make a big deal about 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can only imagine that metal pond would get extremely hot. That frame is cool. I have no plant store near me selling pond plants. Have you ever grown water Iris ? Do you bring your plants in during winter ?
