Thank you Father, now to me this question seems like another symptom of Protestantism. There isn’t really a way(or need) to try and guess when the world will end. It is like an intellectual exercise that doesn’t have any spiritual benefit if we were to learn the answer. One thing we know for certain is that OUR time on this world is rapidly coming to an end- this goes for everyone no matter what. We must keep our death in front of our face and spend the remainder of our lives in repentance.

I couldn't agree with you more Father Peter, even Christ told his Apostles the same thing, and we should follow his words to always be watchful and repent for you never know when the Master shall return.

Father, i always worry over things like this. My mind is filled with all these Protestants telling me the end times will come this year or that year, or that we're in the tribulation already. I will try my best to focus on christ and not my worries.

Lol this is far and away the best time to be alive, and it’s only getting better. Don’t listen to the fud that the tell-a-vision spreads; lots of good happening in the background by exceptional people, communicated by allegories

Are we really repenting, the church will survive all difficulty til the second coming but, as laity and priest we are weaker than ever. Maybe we should repent and be more profound in what is Orthodox and what is not. We need to learn the basics. Priest need to do more than occasional house blessings, baptisms, vespers and liturgies. Priest should keep their flock close call parishioners regularly meet often with everyone. Laity should have penances given to them how can sheep stay in a flock if they are allowed to wonder away and be lost. Also we all need to pray alot more and our actions must reflect it. Intellectualism is a huge problem with Orthodoxy today. You can read a library of books and your brain can become an encyclopedia but, if you don't live the faith and make it a way of life then all that knowledge is useless and you become a blabbering hypocrit. We are the reason why the world is the way it is. When those who have the true faith do nothing darkness has every right to consume everything because the light is turned off.

Matthew 24:32, 34, 42
[32]Now learne a parable of the figtree: when his branch is yet tender, and putteth foorth leaues, yee know that Summer is nigh:
[34]Uerely I say vnto you, this generation shall not passe, till all these things be fulfilled.
[42]¶ Watch therfore, for ye know not what houre your Lord doth come.

Commanded to watch and know the season. The devil knew the season of Christ birth and thus a prophecy fulfilled weeping mother for her children in where? The area of Christ birth just as was done for Moses. You can decern prophecy and thus know the time. Hence why the disciples ask specifically about one day without a date second night or the third night asked by one of the disciples. Which typically involves the feast of trumpets. A generation as stated be in psalms is 70 years and if grace fell upon them 80 years. Fig tree is Israel 1948 to 2028 is exactly 80 years. Yeshuah said all these things will be fulfilled by then. Did he not?
In the book of Matthew you can find the verse. Many people pick a verse here in there but hardly read it many times over and over again. Ive noticed over and over again about 3 topic chosen in a day to preach about in a rotation of 3 years in many churches developed by none other then Catholicism. But these scrolls were meant to be read as one. Not sectionally. Seek the truth and call no man your father as stated by Yeshuah.

I'll accept criticism. But at the same time you'll be criticizing him who said those words. Whom I would not dare go against.
