From this video, I can conclude that Studying abroad gives us the opportunity to have friends all over the world. Abroad, we will meet not only natives with the culture in which we study, but also other international students who are as far away from home as ourselves. And the first time I talked to foreign tourists while on holiday in Bali. I was with my friends on vacation in Bali and got an assignment: To interview foreign tourists from Australia, with very little knowledge and skills and as much as I could, then I with these foreign tourists could understand each other what we said. The first is our introduction, and after that the foreign tourist tells us that he really likes the country of Indonesia because it is a very good and interesting tourist attraction to visit. After that he introduced his family in Australia and his life in Australia. after that we took a picture. And thank you for being allowed to disturb enjoying this attraction. I am very happy and proud because I can directly interact with foreign tourists.

Remember a moment, when I was in junior high school, I went to Bali for study tour. When we were playing at pandawa beach, we met a pretty foreigner which I don't know where she came from, and then me and my friends asked for picutre together. But we use sign languange because we can't speak english well hahahah that was ridiculous. But then when we were in senior high school, we came back to Bali again and finally can be able to talk about beauty of Bali with a very kind foreigner.

This video is very amazing and inspires me. Back when I was in High School I met a stranger. She is from Germany. She went to Indonesia because of student exchanges. I was very happy when she invited me to talk. At that time she taught me some German vocabulary. Of course my pronunciation was very strange and made her laugh 😂. Then I asked in English "Why do you want to go to Indonesia?". She answered "Indonesia is a beautiful country, I really want to come here, besides learning Indonesian culture, I can also take a vacation here." After that I shared stories about various cultures that exist in Indonesia, and she also told me about his culture too. When she go back to Germany, I gave a souvenir to her. It's a memorable experience to be able to talk and share stories with strangers.

This video reminds me of when I first spoke in English. Although at school there are English lessons, but I am not very familiar with English ✌️. Even so, I try to learn English by setting the language on my cell phone with English and the main menu of my game using English, and it really helped me to study English until now. And I have talked about English with English people once. when at the Great Mosque of Central Java, Semarang. Me and my friend tried to ask for a photo with him. but when I want to say "mister, would you like to take a photo with us?", I was nervous and finally I used the google translate voice to request photos with him 🤭🤣. this is one of my experiences so that I can be motivated to study English more actively, especially in pronunciation, and finally, I can speak English even though it is still in its initial stages.

I remember a moment, when I was working part time for 2 months at cafe in ABC Salatiga, I worked as a waitress. at that time the cafe was visited by 2 tourists that I did not know from which country. at that time I ventured to communicate with them, because they seemed confused with the menu on the table. I approached them and asked "is anything I can help?" ( i talk in English with them) Then one of the tourists said "drink" and something light food. then I recommend to order my favorite cafe menu which is a very Indonesian menu. "Seruni tea (consisting of ginger, honey, lemongrass, tea) with special cassava cheese snacks. I explained in detail the foods I recommend. And the tourist said" This is interesting. we try it ". Then when the order came and I served it, the 2 tourists asked for something I didn't understand in their language 😁 then they practiced it with movement. And I understood." Do you need a "fork" right? "and 2 tourists with happy faces together saying" YES !! THATS RIGHT. I was just confused at the time, why didn't they say "fork" but instead they said it in different terms before. whatever it is, I'm very happy to have the opportunity to meet their, talk and smile at one another together. Long story short, when they finished eating and drinking at the cafe where I worked, they called me and asked for a bill. when I bring change, they say "take it. its for you good girl." im so happy. indeed not a large number, but I am very happy to make them comfortable with my service.
