On this edition we remember Apollo 17 Commander Eugen Cernan's first steps upon the moon more than 50 years ago.

In the early morning hours of December 7, 1972 the Apollo 17 crew lifted off from the Kennedy Space Center aboard a Saturn V rocket becoming the last astronauts to attempt a lunar landing and bringing a close to the the Apollo program. Cernan & Schmitt took their Lunar Module called Challenger to a landing in the Taurus-Littrow region of the Moon. The Apollo 17 crew returned to Earth from the Moon on December 19, 1972.

I just recently learned that those color bands are caused by the RGB color wheel used with the monochrome camera to produce a color TV signal.

Sorry for being rude. But it seems fake, look how he drags his feet the first few steps then hopped a little afterwards, like it dont look real. Plus live broadcast in the 60's with the state of communication tech back then, like how did they do that, that far away from earth. Even with todays advance comm tech we still suffer from major communication delays.
