I moved to Newark from Alabama about 4 years ago (I had never lived anywhere other than Alabama), I can attest it is very different place to live if you aren’t use to living in a certain environment.

I was born and raised in Newark and must say, I laughed soooo hard listening to your story!!!! I feel the same way about Newark and I still live Two blocks from Seton Hall University, it's really nice in the Upper Vailsburg Section. I wish I had met you both, I would have helped you out. My friends townhome on the Upper Eastside NY has a gate & small patio area in front with a flower bed kind of high off the ground. Homeless people would poop in it at night. I'm shocked you got on the bus with that & not yelled at. Once I was waiting with my nice shopping cart, it looks like a stroller, it was raining hard. The bus pulled up, he looked at my small cart & I asked him to lower the bus & the ass hole said NO and slammed the door and drove off. Rutgers should really evaluate the housing location & type associated with them because that is not ok especially with the amount people pay for college. That photo of Huy eating LOL. An empty box being thrown out from a store can be used as a table but we never think about these things at the time. Did you see mice or roaches in the apartment?
