Triple shooting ends with 1 person dead in Fayetteville; No suspect in custody

Fayetteville Police Department responded to a shooting around 8:45pm Tuesday night. Officers found multiple people suffering from gunshot wounds. The individuals were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment, where one victim was pronounced deceased. The Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit are actively investigating this incident. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
