I also came down with some sort of flu, although I don't know if it is covid. Let's hope that we both recover soon.
- Killing enemy commanders is one of the most powerful things that you can do to degrade an enemy army. Once the commander is dead, the Corps will rout much faster and easier. The commander gives units perks, plus a huge moral regen when within the command radius. This is also why we need to keep our commander near the action.
- You fought with your cav perfectly in this situation. Sometimes the most powerful thing that cav can do is to create confusion in the enemy rear. Also, enemy artillery will slowly rotate 180 degrees to get a shot at your cav in the rear, and then rotate back 180 degrees to face your charging infantry. Because your cav moves faster than enemy artillery, you can tie up his artillery units in knots for long periods of time. Yes, dismounted cav does 2x damage, but sometimes it is much better to use the speed of mounted cav to harass and distract. Cav is also very good at spotting and recon.

A very good start. I'm very surprised that they have fielded only 28000 and expected them to have 40000+. With their brigades being so small and low-skilled, I'm confident that you'll achieve a pretty easy victory and lose no more than 5000, allowing you to expand your army more.
