In conjunction with the algorithm, what I hear many people say is that they try and try, but still no traction. What usually is missing in their content is uniqueness. If you say the same thing as many others, you need to spin it uniquely. Ask how your content is better than those other people. If it isn't, then it's time to get a unique hook.
