Autistic people are humans and part of human culture! For autism awareness month this is a miss and scientifically, ethically - also. Much of his claims about gender prevalence etc is out of date. Check out any number of autism researchers & specialists who are capable of starting from the basis that autistics are part of humanity. Autistic people have our own customs and culture WITHIN our social mileus. Heck we can even APPRECIATE human culture because we are after all STILL humans. Gender bias is increasingly thought to be due to clinicians historically ignoring femme presentations. This is slowly changing. And still reflects the genetic/familial relationship between autism prevalence and heritability.

What is the cause? And why is it more prevalent in the last 40 years?
