House Hacking using a NACA Loan

ALL this stuff they’re saying is TRUE but this was a BIG process. U have to be patient with NACA 🙄

I just did a refresher orientation with NACA. They are A LOT more reasonable than other lenders.

I currently live in a small 4 plex (2 bedroom), so i can be comfortable in one, BUT my landlord says it's EXPENSIVE, and they do all the upgrades themselves, things i can't do.

I would LOVE to buy at least a duplex and sell after 5 years if that means i'll definitely generate income, because my husband will probably not survive another 5 years. IF this actually works, this would help me in the longrun.

Im doing this now and was told I should be ready in 3 months. I don't recommend everyone getting a multi family home if you don't want to be a landlord. There are plenty of ways to make money. I am not buying a home to live next to tenants. If you only consider the income, then maybe. There are nasty and crazy people out there with clean credit and good backgrounds that can make your life a living hell. No, thank you.

They ran my credit and tried to persuade my to buy a single family home 1st. If i choose a two/there family and need $10, 000 down

Define “moving out” like if I sell the home or if I physically move out after a year and collect rental payments.

This isn’t entirely true you can move out but you can’t sell before a certain percentage of the property is paid off because then you get penalized.
