I wonder if Mei going to Shanghai Disneyland first is accurate market research or ignorant western executives thinking that the Chinese must love turning red, which isn't a given since it's a Chinese-Canadian story and its been the descendants of east Asian immigrants in western countries that have really related to it (obviously you don't have to be of a certain demographic to relate to and enjoy a story, that's the human condition, I'm just wondering how much mass appeal it has.)
