There is something we (including presidents) should never fight about and thst is our country's safety. Not only the lives we have lost from that day, but the realization we have is that 23 years ago today marks the last time our country actually came together to stand up to those terrorists

I still have a visceral reaction, the tears are still there, and the Images are as plain now as on that day. Sadly, if our "intelligence" agencies had shared information and collaborated in good faith, we may be discussing the heroes of those who discovered the 9/11 plot, and destroyed it with calculated arrests and other methodology.
The egregious behavior by the CIA still bothers me, the arrogance of not sharing intelligence cost 2977 people their lives that day, not to mention those who were exposed to the ash in New York, subsequent suicides, and the trauma this nation endured.
This should NEVER happen again, period...

I watched the second plane hit after the first one hit when watching the news that morning...after the second tower was hit I remember saying the United States was under attack... little did we know what was coming...
