Some of you HATED my disliked tanks list, so maybe you'll love my favorite tanks list! These are my top five tanks of all time in War Thunder. The thing with the tiger 2 is that everytime you play it at 6.7 the game automatically jumps it to 7.3.

My favorite tanks:
M4A5 Ram Sherman
Jagdpanthers
Class 3 P
Centurion AVRE
Somua SM

Whenever I do challenges for Events and battlepasses, I always find myself going to the premium + Tech tree Jagdpanther combo with the Do 335 B2, and a Waffentrager/Panther F.

The German 6.0 lineup downtiers 90% of games, instead of constant uptiers. When using the 6.0 lineup vs 5.7, the Jagdpanthers can one shot literally every tank at the BR almost anywhere on them, including Jumbos upper front plate. The guns you face aren’t as dangerous, so after a shot you just angle and protect the barrel to bounce them easily. Do 335 B2 is one of the best CAS planes and needs no explanation.

I consistently get 6 kills every game with this lineup, if not good games where I get 12-14. The downside to this lineup is that you won’t get many assists, so Winter/Summer events with assist challenges have to be done separately.

Since you liked the M6A1, did you actually like the M6A2E1? It seems like a vastly different beast with how it’s played, and I was interested in buying it since I missed that battlepass

my favorite tanks are as follow:
5.m50 ontos- its just stupid fun
4.m18 hellcat- an amazing light tank/tank destroyer.
3.panther A- nuff said.
2.fiat 6614- extremely fast with an amazing gun, the best flanker in the game.
1.the american t34 heavy- extremely armored, has almost 300 mm of pen with a solid shot that weighs more then 20kg, it just wrecks everything.
(the tiger 2, the m36 jackson and the r3-t106-fa are my honorable mentions)

100% agreed on the m6a1, it's my favourite heavy tank in the game.
Decent armor and mobility, 800 hp, a 76mm main gun with short stabilizer, a 37mm secondary gun and 3x .50.
Got a 10 kill game with it last week, it's the last upload on my channel if you're curious ;)
My favourite premium heavy is the American T14, it's a great late game spawn!

P40 is my favorite for certain. Has extremely sloped armor that is decently thick, 100mm pen at any range or angle and has a crazy low depression along with a good engine

Gotta say the clunkiness of the M6A1 really put me off at first but when I discovered how it can one shot a lot of things, especially when you fire 2 guns at the same time, I started to like it a lot more.

6:18 a friend of mine once took a Tiger II(H) to like 9.7 and had the most kills on the team

I was not expecting the char on here. I bloody love that tank too, and my line up of amx 50, char 25t, aml 90 and f4u 7 and f8f is just amazing

Panther F used to be my favourite tank too before the 6.0 nonsense. These days i really enjoy Tiger 2 P (gets downtiers a lot more compared to H), Jagdpanzer 4, DF105, Comet and of course Panther A and G

Absolutely on your side regarding IS1/IS2

I don'T dislike the IS2 but I honestly feel that the IS1 outright is the better tank, due to being more versatile because of the faster reload. IS1 + T34-85 are just hilariously great tanks if matched on BR and even if uptiered, they can often shine

i still think my favorite and most liked tank for this moment is the Cent 6.0, the first one from brits, that tank is damn amazing for me and the way i like to play

I think Italy should get a premium tiger I, as there was one the Italian army purchased, paraded around Rome and used for testing, including even starting to train Italian tank crews on how to operate them as they planned to produce some German tanks via license in late 1943 to early 44, it would be nice and help the lineup around 5.3 for them.

I personally prefer the panther A over the D, even though its a slightly higher br. The fast turret traverse more than makes up for it, and makes the panther A my favorite one.

Man the M6 Heavy tank is great. The 76mm gun is very effective, and the 37mm comes in handy for track and barrel torture. Plus 3 50 cals! I mean what's not to love about it. It has to be the only tank I've gotten 12 kills and no deaths in a single match with.

2. IS-2 (Specifically the Chinese premium one)

the VK is my favorite panther..
germany rank III/IV really lacks any light tanks but the VK can take up this role really well. Altho it's a medium, at 5.0 it's one of the fastest tracked vehicles there is plus it has the great panther canon. It just feels so different from other vehicles around that br and that's what makes it a lot of fun for me
