When a turkey becomes excited or agitated, blood rushes to its head and neck, causing the skin to change color. The skin can turn red, blue, or white, giving the appearance of blushing. This phenomenon is most noticeable in male turkeys, known as toms or gobblers, and is a part of their natural behavior during courtship displays or when they are establishing dominance. So, turkeys do have the ability to blush, adding a touch of visual communication to their behavior. 🦃😊❤️
