I'm sorry but I would not buy a whole nother $400 system just for Tomb Raider and I saw a lot of fans saying the exact same thing. I think if they truly made it exclusive for the X-box they'd lose a lot of money

Regardless they lost my hype, purchase and ultimately any respect I still had for the Xbox brand. Uncharted 4, Bloodbourne, The Order 1886 and P.T. will suffice

Best thing PS4 and PC players can do is just wait and hope that somehow it is timed.

I doubt this will cause people to buy their system . but it will mean that even if the game comes to the other platforms, they will take a large hit in sales. betrayed PC players will probably just pirate it and PS4 players will just say ''Fuck it", and buy the new uncharted instead .

This Justin guy is probably Gamespots biggest Sony fanboy. You can see his denial. Pretty sure this is an Xbox exclusive. If anything it'll come to PC down the road but I don't see it coming to ps4.

Justin is really sure it will come to PS and PC later lol. We'll see about that.

This was such a dick move from MS and Crystal Dynamics.

One thing that people should see is that they made a sequel to a multiplatform game console exclusive. That's just like a big slap to the fans who supported their game on ps3, ps4, and pc.

Up next Fallout 4 exclusive to PS4, Elder Scrolls VI exclusive to Xbox One, and COD exclusive to Wii U. Of course I'm joking, but be prepared because that's the direction gaming is heading with this. Before long all games will be exclusive to one system or another effectively forcing us to buy every system, or miss out on our favorite games! This news is bad for us all as gamers and consumers.

Everybody is forgetting that us PS4 players get Uncharted. Its not as good as Tomb Raider but it is a very close second.

What the hell? I'm a huge Tomb Raider fan, and now I will not be able to play one of my favorite upcoming games. Square actually had a chance to make a comeback and they shot themselves in the foot.

Nothing better than having a XB1 and PS4. Just the feeling of knowing you get to play all the great exclusives. You get the best of both worlds

It is nice to hear a thoughtful commentary, not all the angry and pointless madness heard on other Youtube channels

I think this is a Timed exclusive too. They keep on saying Exclusivity Holiday 2015 and they did say they are not walking away from PS and PC gamers. But they can't say timed exclusive because they are under contract. Just like Bethesda with the Skyrim DLCs. It will come out to PS4 and PC 2016.

The problem here is the growing inconsistency in Microsoft and Sony exclusive language. At E3 Sony said a lot of stuff was exclusive that turned out to be timed exclusives. Microsoft has does the same. After the backlash from the community, both seem to have started saying coming first to "insert console" rather than exclusive to "insert console" when it's in regards to timed exclusives. So it will be interesting to see how this plays out. If going forward all competitors will start saying exclusive summer/spring/fall/winter on "insert console"

"we’ve just announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider, coming Holiday 2015, is exclusively on Xbox." That seems like pretty clear wording.
