There is nothing like a farmers market to bring community together! Our small town market in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on Lake Superior started with 4 vendors in a corner parking lot 19 years ago. Now we have 80+ vendors and a beautiful Commons building with outdoor space. Holds other events as well. Mixture of farmers & artisans. Many new small farms here now. The pride of our community! Wonderful people, beautiful art & incredibly healthy food! We are grateful to these hardworking farmers supporting our health❤🙏🏼😁 and spirits! We appreciate the beauty the artisans bring to our homes & friends. Build it, they will come 😂😊

to miss the opportunity to set up a little stage so local musicians could perform was an oversight. In my opinion, the best farmer's markets have a place where people can play music.

So it's from 9-1pm on Thursday. It's a great idea and a nice pavilion, but I think the location is not ideal. In my experience, Farmer's Markets really thrive when they are downtown or in an area where people already are.

This is beautiful, but a question I have is where does the funding come from? Who pays for this?
