Everybody I apologize for the annoying beeping. I will turn that off or way down for future flights 😏

As someone with a Timber X (love the plane) and lives 40 mins one way (on a low-traffic day/time) from the nearest AMA-approved club (I am a member of one, but don't go super often due to distance), and not legal to fly in ANY regular parks around here (Seattle), hobby is dying because it's harder to do than it needs to be. Clubs don't really help with that much due to the laundry list of rules sticklers will make you feel bad for forgetting to follow even if flying the smallest trainers on an empty field. Drones are easier to fly if they have a non-manual mode and tend to be more reliable, and people can fly those out of smaller spaces like small backyards without getting caught (even if not legal technically in their area), or in their house if micro-drones. If I could go to the nearest baseball diamond or soccer field and have a good time without fearing the cops, Karen, or worse the FAA were going to get on my case, when I was making very sure not to fly near anyone, I'd fly much much more. All the BS at the club field and hoops you have to jump through just to try flying a small trainer doesn't help (AMA membership required even to buddy box at my club). Very discouraging to some who are curious. I've seen it many times now. I joined the club and trained to get my membership 2 years ago, but I'm not sure I would today knowing the AMA failed the hobby (IMO) and the FAA is probably going to make things stupider as soon as they can get around to it. Currently, I build my own custom sub-250g foam planes and fly at normal parks nearby since it's super harmless, and I kind of doubt I'll actually get in trouble for that, but I wish I could fly my Timber X as regularly, because it's a REALLY fun plane.

A great plane, it's fairly docile with a 3S but put a 4S in it and as you clearly demonstrated, it's a very capable and versatile plane.

Great plane but the bottom feader held me off. I have the carbon cub and its a bottom feader also. Pain in the butt. Thanks for sharing. You guys are fun to watch.

I just got my 2nd Timber X. That makes it my 4th Timber. What a pleasure to fly and easy to fix, especially when you have as many spare used parts like I have, if you know what I mean.

I agree the Timber X 1.2 is a awesome plane and could be a 1st plane. My dislike about the plane is it and the Night Timber are bottom feeders and more difficult to load batteries. Using the Dynam 2800mah 50c pack would be more difficult yet to get it to fit. Suprised you didn't have to grease the battery to get it in. That being said good video and good flying. Enjoyed watching.

Great video Brother. Try to keep that wrist away from that prop while plugging that battery in. That Power setup has unforgiving Ball's. Just a suggestion.

Great video. Fantastic airplane in the sky. Horrible on the landings. Don’t care what anybody says. The landing gear absolutely sucks as a Bush Plane. Way too narrow. Way too far back. Wing drops, noses over. Continuously. And it’s Not just me. I removed the Glass Slipper landing gear and installed Grand Tundra landing gear. Now I have a Real Bush Plane.
