Great video and fantastic advice. I was lucky enough to get very similar advice over 26 years ago when my wife and I applied for this visa. The process has changed a lot in that time but the requirements have stayed basically the same. The only very small addition I would make would be travel insurance, we included details of the insurance policy we were going to purchase.

Nothings changed about uk visa applications as far as we know, as we have applied for 2 more visas the same way since (both successfully, 2nd time a 2 year visitor visa)

Your videos are very helpful. I've been using a pdf scanner app to upload documents. On the vfs website it says that they can't accept "read only files". Are PDFs likely to be read only? How would I know? Thanks
