How to download and install the latest version of Revit, for free.
To start, I’m going to search for Revit Student. All of the download links can be found in the description.
From here, I’ll need to create an Autodesk account. Follow the prompts and confirm that you are a student. This will give you one year of full free access.
If you aren’t a student and wish to use Revit, you can still download it for free and use it with a 30 day trial.
On the same page, click “explore our free trials”.
If you are using Revit for commercial work, you’ll need to purchase the subscription.

Once you download the installer, you can click the setup.
Make sure you download the correct content libraries
It can take up to a few hours to install as it is a large program. Mine froze at 97% at work and I had to leave it overnight and it finished.

I cannot get the trial to start, their download link doesn't work (downloaded with AVA) and now I can't get the AutoDesk Desktop assistant to see Revit (presumably why I can't launch the trial. AutoDesk support are less than useless.

i have few question. Does revit 2024 student version are not complete tools. What i mean when i choose material door and furniture only have 1 type only and does not have any nor load family is empty file. 2nd question is which website i can download tool such as furniture or other thing like revit city most revit city are not compatibility to 2024 version

I have Revit 2020 on a student license (from back when it was longer) and I plan to install 2022 when it comes time to renew. Does the Revit installer uninstall the old version, or will I have to do that manually before installing the new one?

Thank you for a very informative video, sir. I tried to download revit student version choosing windows mentioned between 2022-2025 in the website, an error dialog box appeared saying that the 'product download consists of multiple files. at least one file is missing or has not been downloaded is it because the windows in my laptop is installed in 2021? please tell me how to go about next.
