Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel! In today’s video I’m going to be showing you guys how I made this DIY turmeric face mask to lighten dark marks. For this mask I used honey, turmeric, and vitamin E oil. First in a bowl I added a little bit of water so that the mask will be more liquidy. Then I added the turmeric, vitamin E oil, and honey and stirred them all together. I decided to try this diy mask because turmeric is known to prevent and lessen breakouts, fight eczema, reduce acne scars, brighten dark circles, and make skin glow. I added honey because honey is known to remove blackheads, hydrate and tighten skin, and give you a clear complexion. Lastly vitamin E oil can nourish skin, lighten scars, moisturize skin, treat dark circles, and cleanse the skin. This is my 5th time using this turmeric mask and I have definitely noticed a difference in my skin. I have already noticed my dark marks and dark circles lightening, and I have been getting less breakouts overall. To apply the mask, I’m taking a cotton round, dipping it into the mask, and then wiping the mask onto my face. I definitely would not recommend using your hands to apply the mask because if you do you will end up with yellow hands for a few hours, and I know this from personal experience lol. After leaving the mask on for about an hour I’m taking a clean cotton round, wetting it with water, and wiping the mask off. If there is still a yellow color on your face after wiping with water, don’t worry your skin isn't stained yellow, the mask is just not completely wiped off. If this happens I would use a washcloth to wipe it off completely. Next I’m doing my normal skincare routine and cleansing my face with the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. Next I’m moisturizing with the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream. And sadly I got maskne (mask acne) after wearing a mask for only a few hours so I’m adding the cvs targeted acne spot treatment to those areas.
