Q: What difficulty is this run being performed at?
A: This run is performed on Medium difficulty — the void deals 2 damage, which helps 0HP in LCBK line up properly.
Q: What version are you running on?
A: The PC version. Loads are way faster, and some minigames behave slightly differently depending on the version. I didn’t want to mix platforms, since that would make the run feel less authentic.
Q: What FPS are you running at?
A: Anywhere from 60 to 300. Standard rules usually limit runs to under 100 FPS, but since this is a technical showcase, we included clips that rely on how the game behaves at 300 FPS. (For example, getting the key in LCBK isn’t possible at 100 FPS.)
Q: What is 0HP and why is it important?
A: 0HP is a glitch where the player hits zero health at the exact moment a mission or cutscene trigger activates. This puts the game into a strange state: some triggers stop working (like slides and minigames), while others still function normally. Why? Because certain triggers, especially ground-based ones, check if HP greater than 0 and look at the player’s animation state. Others don’t. This selective behavior lets us skip major parts of the game while keeping essential progression intact. Key effects of 0HP: - Slide missions never start, their triggers require HP greater than 0. - Save books during slides don’t appear, because the mission was never actually started. - Linguini minigame triggers fail, same reason: they rely on HP greater than 0.

Q: What the hell are you doing in TCM?
A: The final mission is basically an auto-scroller. You’re just waiting for Mabel to reach each spot. So Wanye had the genius idea of doing as much nonsense as humanly (or ratly?) possible during that window... while still setting up 0HP for Slide of Your Life.
