The Mission: Health Equity Challenge Series is a four-part, interdisciplinary, multimedia challenge that aims to unite researchers, healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community members in the charge of eliminating health disparities and advancing health equity through translational science.

For our second challenge in the series we dedicated eight weeks to discuss Why Are Health Disparities Everyone's Problem? by Lisa Cooper, MD. Each week we heard presentations from local and national health equity researchers and champions on research or work that aligned with the chapter of the week's focus.

This week we discussed Chapter 3: Developing Solutions to Health Disparities and heard from Adam Perzynski, PhD, MA, BA, Associate Professor, Departments of Medicine and Sociology, Director, Patient-Centered Media Lab, Center for Health Care Research and Policy, MetroHealth Medical Center.
