How adventurous to travel from Israel to Egypt. On my tour there ( Jordan to Egypt ) we were given a police man with an Uzi type sub machine gun in the Alexandria area to protect a young woman from Chicago. On the road to Abu Simbel we were stopped at several checkpoints armed with 50 caliber machine guns. Although more engineering than architecture, moving the temple in the 1960's was quite a feat that peaked my imagination reading National Geographic at the time. Can you relate to the challenge's of the architects of Egypt back in the day? As Saliamu Alaikum.
