Did You Know This About Ravenclaw In HARRY POTTER …

In the books, Ravenclaw colors are blue and bronze; however, in the films they were changed to blue and silver. That’s most likely because blue and bronze are clashing colors and don't really match well with each other, at least not as well as blue and silver. Likewise, Ravenclaw's symbol is an eagle in the books and a raven in the films, though in the last film, an eagle does appear as the Ravenclaw mascot.

Blue and bronze go very well together. They changed it because movies at that time liked muted colors for some reason.

The Blue and Bronze combination is simply regal.
It's not my house, but Ravenclaw deserved so much better than what the movies did to them

I hate when movie adaptations don't follow books anyway. BUT THIS?! BLUE AND BRONZE/ORANGE ARE COMPLEMENTARY AND LOOK GREAT TOGETHER SJCJWJBSBDWIN

Strangely enough, the secondary colors of the houses seem to be of how important the houses are. Griffindor is gold, Slytherin is silver, Ravenclaw is bronze, and hufflepuff is black. While yes they blend nicely, if you think about it it’s almost like they’re ranked on how important the house is in the books

Don't worry no-one will notice, it's not like Ravenclaw is the house of people who value brains(!)

It kills me that I can’t find any official Harry Potter merch with Ravenclaw’s emblem with an Eagle. The house just feels so misrepresented when they changed it.

Blue and blonze/orange are complementary colors, they go very well together

That is so annoying! I only get fanmade merch. And I'm tired to explain the name... That Ravenclaw does not necessarily mean that the mascot is a raven. I got a scarf in blue and bronze by a friend for birthday. And I love it!🥰

Blue and bronze go really well and periwinkle and blue suit Emma Watson very beautifully as well.

Bad decision for the movies. With students casually walking around, I couldn't tell the difference between a Ravenclaw and a Slytherin. The colors are too close together on the screen.

Yes because I'm a ravenclaw and this makes me mad. Bronze and blue do look good together

Precisely. They sell tacky blue and white instead.

Blue and bronze go really well together. They are opposite on the color wheel.

Yes I did notice. I am a Ravenclaw and also very annoyed by this. Ravenclaw deserved better. Even Padma Patil is a Ravenclaw but was switched to Gryffindor for the movies. Ravenclaw has so little a reputation that before watching the movies or reading the books, I didn't know it existed.

Every Ravenclaw knows this because we try to buy merch and we can never find blue and bronze stuff 😔

some people say that it should be a raven because that makes sense but it doesn't. The reason it's an eagle is because the word raven is actually referring to the color black so its an eagle because they have black claws

i feel like ravenclaw and hufflepuff are the most underrated

Actually Navy Blue and Bronze go perfect for each other.

Look it up.

Two points.

Blue and bronze compliment each other very well but is somewhat hard to execute. Silver being neutral just works with pretty much any other colour and is much easier to please everybody (who dont care about the lore)

The mascot really should have been an owl. This is a bird related to wisdom since forever in mythology.
