im a complete beginner, and I really appreciate your alternatives (pushups on an elevated surface, etc) being suggested in a non-judgemental way. we all have to start somewhere!

Warmup : 15 pushups
Goblet Squads : 25reps
Chair sit-ups : 30reps
Thrusters : 15reps
Goblet Curtsy lunges: 12 on each leg
Rear Delt Fly: 15reps
Hammer Curls: 15reps
Overhead Tricep Extensions: 10reps each arm

This will become my end-of-the-week full-body workout with weights. I will add a 1-mile walk on the treadmill with a weighted vest to cool down. Thanks, Chris.

4. Thrusters - 15 reps
5. Goblet Curtsy Lunges - 12 reps each leg
6. Rear Delt Fly - 15 reps
7. Hammer Curls - 15 reps
8. Overhead Tricep Extension - 10 reps each arm

Rest: 15 seconds between each set

I started my weight loss journey today. Got some dumbells and used this guide. I was Gassed and nauseous 5 minutes in. But im going to keep at it!! Starting weight : 320 lbs.

Chris im a 20 year old male who saw your videos 6 months ago as i was going through a dark time in my life because of college. After i watched some of your videos, i thought to myself "huh that's cool might try this someday" and then i bookmarked them and procrastinated it. Eventually i locked in and studied well and did well in all my courses and got through college. Still Haven't tried your workout routine tho too lazy

I am an almost 62-year-old female (probably not Chris' target audience :)), and I am using this workout to combat muscle loss that can come with aging. I am finding it a great well-rounded workout for that purpose. I modify the goblet curtsy lunges because of a meniscus problem in my knee by not going down as far, and I do pushups with my knees down (hoping to do full eventually); other than that I can keep up and do the moves as taught by Chris. I use 5, 8, and 10 pounds depending on the move. It is quick, efficient, and I enjoy it so it is easy to stick with it.

Log:
20. March 2024: After being unsatisfied with my body more and more I finally decided to buy dumbbells. After intense research (10 minutes of googling lol) I found this and decided this will be my workout. I am writing this log to keep motivation and to maybe inspire should I keep going.

21. March 2024: They arrived and I did the workout for the first time. Today was just a test and I didn't write down how much of each I was able to do but I do feel like my body is burning.

22. March 2024: I finally did a proper round and these were my first ever results:
2 Sets for each with 1:30 minutes rest between each set and 2:00 minutes between each exercise.
Pushups: 10x, Goblet Squats 25x, Chair sit-ups 15x, Thrusters 8x, Goblet courtesy lunges 0x, Rear delt fly 8x, Hammer curls 20x, Overhead tricpes extensions 5x (7Kg Dumbbells for everything).

24 March 2024:
I've settled on one rest day for now and besides needing to do 3 sets of pushups today (10/5/5), everything else remained the same.

26 March 2024:
I finally tried the courtesy lunges today, I did 5 but they didn't feel right, gonna have to figure them out. I also decreased rest time by 1 minute in total (1:00 between sets and 1:30 between exercises.

28/29 March 2024: I did it sometime during the night so I don't remember if it was the 28th or 29th. Nothing interesting happened through


1 April 2024: as a cruel April fools joke, my stomach decided to not want to keep my last meal in and I prematurely stopped before I got sick even more. I managed to finish the first set of thrusters but I just can't today. Hope I'll feel better tomorrow.

10. April 2024: Yeah I didn't get better after 1 day. But I finally got back to it today and now I basically did everything like I did last time I wrote it down so yeah


Fresh start:


15. 07. 2024: After 3 months of depression I've finally found motivation to start working out again. I finally weighed myself and can now actually calculate how much I need to eat and how many proteins I need. Since I've basically been sitting around for 3 months, today's workout was a bit scaled down:
Pushups: 5x, 2 sets
Goblet Squads: 15x, 2 sets
Chair sit-ups: 8x, 2 sets
Lunges: 6x, 2 sets for each leg
Delt fly: 6x, 1 set
Hammer curls: 10x, 2 sets
Tricep extensions: 6x, 2 set for each arm

17. 07. 2024: My legs and stomach still hurt like crazy from Monday so I only did the arm exercises today.
Hammer curls: 15x, 2 sets
Overhead tricep extensions: 7x, 2 sets for each arm
Delt flys: 10x, 2 sets

This is what i'm talking about. A simple workout i can do everyday that works my whole body. So glad i found this video. I started my weight loss journey at 396 lbs. and i'm down to 323 as of today. I'm at the point where i feel good enough to start working out and this workout is gonna help me immensely. Got my dumb bells. Time to mold this body.
