Curd Cake with fruits and gelatin

INGREDIENTS

Coating:
1 3/4 cup (400ml) water
pickled fruits (e.g. cherries + mandarins)
jam (e.g. red currant)
1/4 cup (50g) colored gelatin

Corpus:
2/3 cup (75g) high gluten flour
6 pcs egg white
1 pinch salt
3/4 cup (150g) granulated sugar
1/4 cup (50ml) vegetable oil

Filling:
1/2 cup (100g) butter
2 cups (500g) semi-solid curd or cottage cheese or farmer cheese
2 drops vanilla essence
2 tbsp vanilla pudding or starch

DIRECTIONS

Whip egg whites with a pinch of salt until foamy. Not a piece of yolk or anything fatty mustn't come into that mixture otherwise the foam won't form. Add flour, sugar and oil. Pour the dough into a mold already smeared with fat and flour to prevent stickyness. Bake in an oven at 340F (170C) for 15 minutes. After the baking is finished let the dough cool down.

Meanwhile prepare the curd filling. Melt the butter and stir it together with vanilla essence. Add curd and pudding and stir it until creamy.

Split the corpus in halves horizontally. Smear the lower part with the filling. Put the second half on top of it. Smear the gap in between dough and mold using jam. This is to prevent leakage of the gelatin. Now is the right time to decorate with fruits: cherries, mandarins, banana, kiwi, strawberries and so on.

Prepare the gelatin in accordance with directions given by seller by boiling in water. Let it cool down but not to turn solid. When ready pour 1/3 of it slowly onto the cake. Let it refrigerate for 30 minutes. Repeat pouring and refrigerating with the second 1/3 of gelatin. Analogic it is for the last part of gelatin.

Ingredience:
čerstvé ovoce
1 balíček červená želatina

Krém:
100 g máslo
2 lžícevanilkový pudink
2 ks vanilkový cukr
500 g tvaroh

Těsto:
75 g polohrubá mouka
150 g cukr krupice
6 ks bílek
50 ml olej

Postup přípravy:

Bílky s polovinou cukru vyšleháme v tuhý sníh, opatrně přidáme zbytek cukru, mouku a olej. Těsto vylijeme do vymazané a vysypané dortové formy. Pečeme v troubě vyhřáté na 170 °C asi 15 minut. Po upečení necháme korpus vychladnout.

Mezitím si připravíme tvarohový krém. Povolené máslo utřeme s vanilkovými cukry, přidáme tvaroh a pudinkový prášek a vyšleháme hladký krém.

Upečený korpus podélně rozřízneme. Spodní část korpusu potřeme polovinou krému, přiklopíme druhou částí a potřeme zbytkem krému. Nahoru úhledně naskládáme pokrájené ovoce: banán, kiwi, jahody apod.

Želatinu připravíme podle návodu na sáčku, polijeme jí dort a necháme v lednici asi půl hodiny ztuhnout. Želatina nám nebude stékat, uzavřeme-li před poléváním dort zpět do dortové formy.

Lehký ovocný dort s tvarohem podáváme ke kávě, čaji nebo jen tak na chuť.
