Wow so tight and clean, absolute prog mastery. Love those effortless blasts and syncopated accents right in the pocket. How it must of sounded front and center eh. Iconic.

For me, I'm not sure if Abrahadabra was my fav album, probably, but what I can say for sure is that it's the album where I think they reached the pinnacle of the form and raised the bar on just how BIG and complicated extreme metal can be. Those shows with the full orchestra and choir were also ridiculous. 100 people on stage or whatever.

Have to say that their music of the earlier years was more energetic and powerful then their last 2 albums life; when I look and listen to Forces of the Northern Night, Dimmu was more killing it, nothing against the music from Eonian, but life it doesn't flow as SBD, PEM 🤘🤘🤘
