I can’t believe it’s already been a year since Lillie crossed over. She’s still with me always. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about her or feel her spirit ❤️

My Pit Bull, Phoenix, is such a special soul, he crossed over 27 years ago and I still think of him often. He was my son's nanny, body guard and play mate. He was 18 years old and he let me know it was time to let him go. I still feel him close checking in on me, his boy and my Grandsons.

I actually hesitated to watch this video because I knew I would be crying . I remember when Lillie passed and the rescue of Ranger. You promised Lillie that she'd see snow and so many other things and you kept your promises to her and still do. So proud of you and TAH. And Sara😁

The life Lillie had, and the hole she left, means your heart will always have space for others. She had a great life. Grief never goes away, it moves onto different levels. As painful as it is when you have to say goodbye to your beloved pets, you have to weigh up that sorrow and remember the joy, love, happiness and pleasure they gave you in their little lives. And they are always alive in your hearts 💕

Uuggghhhh, this is the most difficult loss. They give us their very best, every single moment. My only complaint about dogs is that they don’t live as long as humans do. Thank you SO much Lee. Lee-every dog I have had in my life (72+)has been a rescue. I could bore you to tears with ALL of my stories. At this time I am a widow living with my husband (51+) years and our last dog. Because of my professional and personal background we adopted special needs animals. Thank you for all you do that makes your fellow rescuers SO proud!!

Lilly's story will always be with me. When a dog touches your heart and life so deeply they never ever leave it. For me it was my Granddoggy, Bentley, a BEAUTIFUL Newfoundland, my daughter rescued. I love big dogs all dogs and animals really. But, I have only ever had 2 pets I loved like you feel with Lily and I felt with Bentley and my Beautiful Once In A Lifetime cat Selma. Lily is smiling and wagging that big beautiful tail hearing your words and feelings right now Lee. I can't wait to see Lilly's Light House up and running. Her story is what led me to The Asher House. Your talk about Lilly has helped me with my grief after losing my husband a month ago. We had our heart/soul dog that he had to have put down 5 years ago. He never got over this ever. Tears came if our dog, Pud was mentioned. Me too. I hope he is is in Heaven with my husband.❤
