Why You Need to Visit Lviv Ukraine

If you’re planning a tour of Europe’s great historic cities, Lviv should absolutely be on your list! Lviv is the cultural capital of Ukraine. It's a charming city with narrow medieval streets paved with stones, and probably the most beautiful architecture in Eastern Europe. The central part of Lviv is included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage.

A special thanks to Cobblestone Freeway Tour who showed us the very best of Ukraine.  Thanks to them, I got to experience the fascinating culture, learn about their past, and meet friendly locals.

My wife's cousins are from Lviv. We visited Ukraine in 2019 but only stayed near Vinnitsya where most of my in laws live. Next time we'll visit Lviv for 2 weeks. Christmas season would be ideal. Great video by the way!

I have 1 year of experience in Ukraine. And it’s pretty good. Last time I visited was in 2018, this year I will finally go. And I love the traditional food. There is a thing called Varenyky (Вареники) with onion and I love it. The forum is 10, 000+ square feet and it has an arcade which I loved it. Can’t forget about the movies!

I almost made it this year, but I spent all my time in Kiev and Chernobyl. Next year -- 100%! I have read that 55% of Ukraine's Unesco heritage monuments are in Lviv! I want to see Lviv and Krakow! Can't wait.
